Client and The Problem
The client wanted to create a convenient digital solution for discovering local service providers and vendors in their vicinity. Residents had to rely on manual search methods and word-of-mouth recommendations to find skilled workers like plumbers, cleaners, and technicians. There was no efficient way to locate nearby vendors such as fruit sellers or local shops, and no streamlined method for direct communication and booking with service providers. This created inefficiencies and missed opportunities for both service seekers and providers.

We developed a comprehensive location-based web application that connects local workers and vendors with nearby residents. Local Worker Service Platform features detailed worker and vendor profiles with listed services and pricing, real-time location alerts that notify users when vendors like fruit sellers are nearby, a comprehensive local shop directory, and dedicated user and worker portals to ensure smooth communication and booking processes. The system uses GPS technology to provide accurate proximity matching and enables direct contact between service seekers and providers.
