Firoz Shroff is a distinguished expert in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) strategy and execution, specializing in diagnosing intrinsic and intangible corporate assets, licensing, franchising, and partnership structures. He focuses on increasing shareholder value and market capitalization, while also providing family office wealth strategy and succession planning. As Chairman and Past President of the United Nations Association of Canada Toronto (UNACTO), and a prominent figure in social entrepreneurship, Firoz serves as an idea sponsor, M&A specialist, land banker, and mentor. He promotes the integration of AI and blockchain into future social-impact ventures and advises family offices and sovereign funds. Firoz has been a guest speaker at TED Rogers School of Management, Ryerson University, on social entrepreneurship. He donated 200 signed copies of Walter Isaacson's Steve Jobs biography to MBA students and endowed an internship program at Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business, fostering research on social enterprise in public companies. In 1987-1988, he negotiated the acquisition of Chase Corporation (Australia & New Zealand), a US $1.5 billion conglomerate listed in seven jurisdictions. Through private equity and advisory engagements, Firoz has been involved in multi-billion-dollar transactions totaling approximately US $25 billion. He identified Dow Jones & Co.'s intrinsic asset valuation before its sale to Rupert Murdoch and proposed alternative consortium funding to retain independent ownership.
