1. Commitment
Manaknight Inc. is committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration and equal opportunity. We are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner, and will do so by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility and meeting accessibility requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
2. Accessible Customer Service
We are committed to providing accessible customer service to people with disabilities. This means we will:
- Communicate with people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability
- Allow service animals and support persons in our premises (or during video calls)
- Provide accessible invoices and documentation upon request
- Notify customers of any temporary disruptions to services
3. Information & Communications
As a software company, we commit that:
- Our website and client deliverables meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA standards where technically feasible
- Upon request, we will provide information in accessible formats (large print, accessible PDF, etc.)
- We will work with clients to ensure our software products are accessible to end-users with disabilities
4. Employment
We are committed to fair and accessible employment practices:
- We notify job applicants that accommodations are available upon request
- We consult with employees who request accommodation and provide suitable arrangements
- We provide individualized workplace emergency response information to employees with disabilities
5. Training
All employees and contractors have received training on:
- The purposes of the AODA and requirements of the Customer Service Standard
- How to interact and communicate with people with various types of disabilities
- How to use equipment or devices available on-site that may help with service delivery
- What to do if a person with a disability is having difficulty accessing our services
